Students Light Up WSU Campus

PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University sororities, fraternities and residence halls have signaled in the holiday season with decorations the entire community can enjoy.
More than 35 living groups participated in the first of what organizers hope will be an annual Holiday Lights contest. This year’s event was sponsored by WSU Panhellenic, Interfraternity Council, Residence Life and Papa John’s Pizza.
Judges selected the winners of the decorating contest before Thanksgiving break. Top honors for the fraternities went to Alpha Gamma Rho, 730 NE Linden, and Alpha Tau Omega, 710 NE Linden. Sigma Kappa, 720 NE Campus, received top honors in the sorority division, while Scott-Coman on Colorado Street was recognized for its lighting display among the residence halls.
The decorations will be lit through finals week, Dec. 18.
