UW, WSU Presidents Wager Oysters, Cheese on Apple Cup Game

University of Washington President Richard L. McCormick and Washington State University President Samuel Smith have made a friendly wager on the outcome of Saturday’s (Nov. 21) Apple Cup football game. The UW wagers a bucket of oysters, grown using technology developed at the UW that makes oysters better-tasting year-round. In turn, WSU wagers four tins of award-winning Cougar Gold Cheese, produced by the WSU Creamery. The UW Huskies and WSU Cougars play starting at 12:30 p.m. at WSU’s Martin Stadium in Pullman.
