Huck to Perform Music Education Recital

PULLMAN, Wash.-Washington State University clarinetist Marie Huck of Yakima will present her public music education recital Friday, Jan. 23, at 3:10 p.m. in Bryan Hall Auditorium.
The recital will feature Mozart’s “Concerto for Clarinet” and other works by Hurlstone, Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Bowman and Schreiner. Huck will be accompanied by pianists Kristofer Barber and Naoko Inabe. The program is open to the public without charge.
Huck, a junior, is an elementary music education major and a student of WSU faculty member H. James Schoepflin. Her performance fulfills a degree requirement.
Huck is a member of the WSU Wind Symphony, University Singers and WSU Clarinet Quartet. She is active in the Music Educators National Conference and is treasurer of Mu Phi Epsilon, an international professional music fraternity.
