1999 Distinguished Faculty Address Nominees Due Oct. 15

PULLMAN, Wash. — Nominations for the Washington State University 1999 Distinguished Faculty
Address are due by mid-October to committee chair Albert J. von Frank, professor of English.
Each year a WSU faculty member is selected to present a public lecture on his or her research. The
selection committee is looking for a faculty member with national and international distinction for original
contributions to the discipline, national and international service, and achievement in undergraduate and
graduate education. The faculty member will present the address and accept the $2,500 honorarium during
the spring semester.
