Popular WSU license plates set $613K scholarship record

WSU-license platePULLMAN, Wash. – Scholarship funds from the Washington State University license plate, the number-one specialty plate in the state, hit a new record of $613,283 in the 2016-2017 academic year, according to the WSU budget office. All of the proceeds go to scholarships for students in the WSU system.

Rhoda Altom honored with the Alumni Achievement Award

PULLMAN — Rhoda L. Altom, real estate entrepreneur and community activist, was awarded the WSU Alumni Association (WSUAA) Alumni Achievement Award on Monday, Jan. 25 for her exemplary career in real estate and for her tireless work to improve pediatric health care, medical research and women’s issues in the Seattle area.
