Nothing better exemplifies the ongoing Cougar-Husky rivalry than the annual Apple Cup football contest, which will be played in Seattle on Nov. 24.

Don’t bake your car in the sun, try covered parking

PULLMAN — Parking at Washington State University just became a little easier with reduced summer rates available at all campus garages.WSU Parking and Transportation Services is offering hourly garage rates for $1.25 per hour, reduced from $1.75 per hour, at the Samuel H. Smith Center for Undergraduate Education parking garage and the garage under Holland Library. Discount Parking Offered

To improve customer service, Washington State University Parking and Transportation services will offer discounts on prepaid keys for parking meters and a special discounted rate at WSU’s newest parking garage — the Samuel H. Smith Center for Undergraduate Education.Beginning April 1, customers can receive $12 of meter time for every $10 paid when they purchase prepaid meter keys. That adds 80 extra minutes for every $10 of meter time purchased. Meter keys can be used in lieu of coins at the 221 parking meters across campus.
