High-energy band blends blues, funk, jazz

Musician Jude Bowerman will bring his high-energy act to the Washington State University campus on June 25 to highlight the release of his new album “Life Goes On.” The performance will be from noon-1 p.m. on Glenn Terrell Mall. Bowerman covers a variety of musical styles that blend blues, funk jazz and rock into a high energy, groove-based sound, say critics. He and his award-winning band have shared a stage with the likes of Johnny Winter, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Melvin Seals, George Thorogood and more.
