WSU to moderate civic conversations on affordable housing

LongVANCOUVER, Wash. – A Washington State University Vancouver professor and her students will moderate a series of public forums in the region about challenges and opportunities related to affordable housing.

Four U-District forums to gather input
September 26, 2008

PULLMAN — WSU faculty, staff and students, Pullman residents and other interested constituents will have a chance to voice their opinions about the proposed University District during four scheduled forums.

 

The forums will take place:

 

7-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, in the Compton Union Building (CUB) Auditorium on the WSU Pullman campus

6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, at the Community Congregational United Church, 525 NE Campus St. in Pullman

12-1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, p.m., in the CUB Auditorium

6-7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 22, in the Gladish Community Center View Room, 115 NW State Street in Pullman

Realignment forums offer information, invite feedback
September 30, 2005

Three public forums are planned in October to present information and take questions on WSU academic realignment proposals. The forums will be conducted by Fran McSweeney, vice provost for Faculty Affairs, and Chuck Pezeshki, vice chair of the Faculty Senate. They co-chair the Committee on Academic Structure.The realignment proposals are part of an overall effort, begun in fall 2004, to make WSU’s academic structure more responsive to its current operations.Forums will be in FSHN T-101.
