WSU holds Undergraduate Research Symposium

PULLMAN – Freshmen through seniors from throughout WSU will participate in the first Undergraduate Research Symposium Nov. 9 and 10 on the Pullman campus. Monetary awards totaling $2,000 will be awarded for the best presentations and posters.

“There are numerous examples of undergraduate research, scholarship and creative activities taking place at our university, and the symposium offers a chance all students, from all colleges and majors, on all WSU campuses, to present their work to the community,” said Dave Bahr, director of undergraduate research.

President Floyd to holdforum on Oct. 29

President Elson S. Floyd will present his third in a series of five question-and-answer forums for faculty and staff, 12:15-12:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, in FSHN T-101.

 

The session will be available live via videoconference to all WSU campuses and WECN sites.

The remaining forums will be:
• 8:30-9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, Todd 404, videostream available later in the day.

• 5-5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, Todd 120, videostream available the following morning.
