PULLMAN, Wash. – The largest touring illusion show in the U.S. will bring four master magicians and more than 30,000 pounds of equipment to Washington State University for two shows at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, at Jones Theatre in Daggy Hall.
Reserved seating tickets are on sale TicketsWest outlets – including online at https://TicketsWest.com, by phone at 800-325-SEAT (7328) and in person at Beasley Coliseum (open 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday) and the Lewiston, Idaho Rosauers supermarket. Same-day tickets, subject to availability, will be sold at the Daggy Hall box office beginning two hours before each performance.
WSU student tickets are free and available in advance at the Beasley Coliseum ticket office with valid WSU ID. Tickets cost $16 adults, $13 seniors (ages 60+) and $8 non-WSU students and youth. A discount on adult/senior ticket prices is available for groups of eight or more.
“Smoke and Mystery” by Nelson Illusions (https://nelsonillusions.com/) is edgy, with a steampunk aesthetic, yet family-friendly. Highlights include a person sawn in half, one who floats in circles and the largest illusion ever seen – the 21-foot-long Drill of Death, which goes through a woman and lifts her 18 feet in the air.
Nelson Illusions is comprised of husband and wife team Jeff and Lynn Nelson, their daughter Sharii, who first took the stage with her parents at 18 months of age, and Sharii’s husband Scott MacNeill.
Each magician engages the audience with his or her own exciting and original style, and members of the troupe have received numerous awards for excellence, including both the “People’s Choice Award” and “Magician of the Year” from the Society of American Magicians.
