State of the University set for March 28

This year's State of the University address will begin at 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, at the WSU Spokane campus. A livestream of the event will also be available.

This year’s State of the University address will be delivered by President Kirk Schulz on the WSU Spokane campus as well as livestreamed online.

The event will kick off at 3:10 p.m. March 28 with an introduction from WSU Spokane Chancellor and Executive Vice President of Health Sciences Daryll DeWald. The keynote address will be delivered by Schulz, who will share prepared remarks focused on WSU’s access mission, as well as some of the challenges and opportunities facing the university.

Schulz’s remarks will be followed by a Q&A, addressing questions submitted in advance from members of the WSU community as well as those asked during the address.

Questions should be submitted via the Office of the President’s website by March 24.

State of the University is one of several events taking place as part of Showcase 2023, the annual event that honors the academic achievements of the university community. More information about Showcase is available on the program’s website.
