Christine Horne, a lawyer-turned-sociologist who’s called Pullman home for more than two decades, is beginning her second stint on Faculty Senate’s executive team.

An enduring belief in the value of faculty governance prompted Roberts to join Faculty Senate two years ago. He’ll serve as its chair during the 2025–26 academic year.

Moore has been a professor and chair of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics since arriving at WSU in 2013.

The role serves as an institutional and statewide faculty advocate as a member of the Council of Faculty and acts as a liaison between the university, legislators, state officials and other constituent groups.

Tracy Klein, a nurse practitioner on the Vancouver campus, will spend the upcoming year working closely with new Chair Eric Shelden and past Chair Christine Horne.

Beginning Fall 2023, course syllabi will look noticeably shorter.

The Regents' committees have been condensed and each committee now has responsibilities related to inclusion, diversity, equity, and access.
