Nearly one out of every three WSU students are the first in their family to attend college, peaking at WSU Vancouver, where more than 40 percent are first-generation college students.

As the new academic year begins throughout the WSU system, the medical school’s growth underscores the University’s commitment to serving the state’s needs.

For the third year in a row, Washington State University enrolled a record number of students, with Pullman freshmen leading the surge.

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University again experienced record enrollment this fall, registering a total of 30,614 students statewide.

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University has experienced its highest spring semester enrollment ever, registering 27,093 students statewide, up 2.1 percent from the spring semester of 2015.

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Washington State University experienced a significant enrollment jump across all campuses this semester as compared with the same semester last year, Interim WSU President Daniel J. Bernardo told the WSU Board of Regents Friday.
