Southside Cafe remodeling nears reopening date

The Southside Café, formerly the Rotunda, will have its grand opening at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March. 16, featuring it’s first dinner menu. 
 
The overall renovation began in the spring of 2006 and cost about $10 million. 
 
Southside offers a restaurant feel, as well as cook-to-order food prepared in an assortment of ways.  Southside Café will offer such features as:
 
* The Crimson Bakeshop & Deli – featuring: cakes, pies, cookies and a self-service deli bar. 
 
* Silo’s N’ Wraps – featuring: fresh-baked artisan sandwiches and wraps. 
 
* Big Cat Grille featuring: hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, French fries, and more. 
 
* Stonewall Pizza and Pasta featuring: pizzas, pastas, and Italian foods.
 
* Field of Greens – featuring: two salad bars, a salad exhibition platform, soup and fresh bread. 
 
* Chef’s Creations – featuring: breakfast, home-style entrees and international cuisine.
