The Seattle Symphony will perform at Washington State University#s Bryan Hall Theatre when it brings its Washington State Tour 2002 to Pullman at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25.
Guest conductor and violinist Christopher Warren-Green will lead the symphony in a program that features works by Mozart, including Symphonies No. 15 and 29, “Divertimento” and “Eine kleine Nachtmusik.” He also will perform violin in Bach#s Concerto for Two Violins and String Orchestra with Seattle Symphony and Clowes Family Associate Concertmaster Maria Larionoff.
Warren-Green led the Seattle Symphony in the Washington State Tour 2000. He has conducted the Philharmonic Orchestra and the National Symphony Orchestra and was appointed Music Director of the London Chamber Orchestra in 1988. In 1998, he was appointed chief conductor of the Jönköping Sinfonietta in Sweden. This season, he makes his conducting debuts with the
St. Louis Symphony, Minnesota Orchestra and Hong Kong Sinfonietta
An exceptional violinist, Warren-Green was invited to join England#s Academy of St. Martin in the Fields at age 19. He has since served as concertmaster of the BBC Welsh Symphony Orchestra and the Philharmonia Orchestra and performed with many British and European orchestras, including the London Philharmonic, the Royal Philharmonic, the City of Birmingham Symphony and the Dresden Philharmonic.
Violinist Maria Larionoff is a graduate of The Juilliard School and a former member of the Los Angeles Philharmonic#s first violin section. She made her solo debut at age 12 and has since performed regularly in recitals and concerts with the San Francisco Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic and New York Philharmonic. Ms. Larionoff is the Clowes Family Associate Concertmaster of the Seattle Symphony and has been a featured soloist with
the orchestra on numerous occasions. She also has appeared with the International Music Festival of Seattle and the Mostly Mozart Festival in New York and Japan.
Other performances include a 7:30 p.m., Oct. 24, at Moses Lake#s Wallenstien Theater; 8 p.m., Oct. 26, at Sunnyside High School Performing Arts Center; and 2 p.m., Oct. 27, at Wenatchee High School Auditorium.

The Seattle Symphony#s “Symphony on Wheels” van will be at Neill Public Library, 210 N. Grand Ave., at 10:30 a.m., Oct. 25, to introduce orchestral
instruments to pre-school children. Pullman music students will assist symphony staff with instrument demonstrations and exploration.
