WSU Women’s Basketball faces Illinois in WBIT semifinals today

The WSU Women’s Basketball team is playing in the semifinals of the inaugural Women’s Basketball Invitational Tournament this afternoon

The No. 1-seeded Cougars will contend for a spot in the WBIT finals against the No. 4-seeded University of Illinois. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. inside Butler University’s Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The game is being broadcast on ESPNU.

With a win, WSU would secure a spot in the WBIT finals on April 3 against the winner of Villanova vs. Penn State.
