Nominate colleagues for President’s Award for Safety, Health and Security by Oct. 1

Don't fear the WSU Safety, Health, and Security Fair and Awards Ceremony.
The 2020 Washington State University Safety, Health and Security Fair is happening Oct. 19-23.

Members of the WSU community can recognize their fellow students, faculty or staff for their efforts by nominating them for this year’s President’s Award for Safety, Health and Security.

Anyone wishing to nominate someone for going above and beyond in ensuring WSU remains a healthy, safe and secure place can do so by filling out an online form. The deadline for nominations closes at 5 p.m. Oct. 1.

Critical to consideration is a detailed explanation of why a nominee deserves an award. A list of criteria used by judges to select winners can be found online.

Members of the WSU community will be recognized during this year’s Safety, Health and Security Fair, happening from Oct. 19–23. This year’s fair will be taking place entirely online, with flash talks on safety, health and security topics taking place daily between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
