Washington State University’s Engineering and Technology Management (ETM) program is pleased to launch Project Management in Digital Environments, a course specifically designed to respond to global demand for professionals ready to lead the projects that comprise your sector’s response to digital transformation. The course equips current and future project leaders with effective techniques and best practices that improve agility and adaptability of project delivery coupled with leadership competencies needed to seamlessly implement digital projects and initiatives.
“The WSU ETM program already prepares technically trained professionals for leadership in their organizations,” said Kim Zentz, director of the Engineering and Technology Management graduate program. “Project Management in Digital Environments complements our offerings by embracing the unique demands of projects incorporating data, analytics, and digital conversions. We are consistently told that the principles learned in class are applied on the job the very next day.”
Kay Bachman, known as “Doc Bach” to her students, is a seasoned professional in project management. Building on thirty years of hands-on experience in companies, organizations and with digital projects of various size, scope, and complexity, Bachman has transitioned from practitioner to educator. She is a devoted member of the PMI (Project Management Institute) and a Certified Scrum Master. With her wealth of real-world experience, she is passionate to share relevant and insightful stories with her students to enhance their growth as digital project managers as well as their prospects for advancement.
The Engineering and Technology Management Program at Washington State University is part of the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture and all courses are offered online via the WSU Global Campus. ETM faculty all bring deep industry experience and are highly rated by students. The courses are taught live to enhance the student experience with faculty and other students and the courses are conveniently recorded for access outside of class time.
