March 31 deadline for pharmacy teaching fellowship

SPOKANE, Wash. – A two-year mentored fellowship for those with a doctor of pharmacy degree or equivalent who want to teach and do research is accepting applications through Friday, March 31.

The Washington State University College of Pharmacy Teaching Fellows Program helps develop the next generation of educators to train practice-ready pharmacy graduates. Find details and apply at http://www.pharmacy.wsu.edu/currentstudents/pharmacyfellowprogram.html.

“This fellowship is one of the many innovative things we are implementing within the College of Pharmacy to improve pharmacy education,” said Connie Remsberg, director of the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence at the WSU College of Pharmacy.

The program accommodates two new fellows yearly, one in Spokane and one in Yakima, Wash., for a mentored experience in teaching, professional development and scholarship. It is open to applicants with a Pharm.D. degree or equivalent (Ph.D., M.D., Ed.D.).
