March 23: Guest speaker on social justice in education

PULLMAN, Wash. – Wayne Au, associate professor at the University of Washington Bothell, will speak at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 23, in FSHN 101 about the politics of education, fear and uncertainty in “The Courage to Teach for Justice in Unjust Times.”

Au is the longtime editor and writer for the social justice teaching magazine Rethinking Schools.

The event is sponsored by the College of Education and Washington State University Diversity Education. It will be available via AMS at WSU Spokane (SPBS 409), WSU Tri-Cities (TWST 247) and WSU Vancouver (VECS 122).
