The event on Monday, March 27, in the CUB ballroom will include works by approximately 250 students from all majors, grades and campuses. Learn more at https://surca.wsu.edu. Sign up to be a judge at https://SURCA.wsu.edu/judges.

Topics of students’ posters will span eight categories. Judges will receive in advance the titles of the 2-4 posters assigned to them and will have online access to those students’ research abstracts.

On the day of SURCA, the general schedule (subject to change) will be:
2-2:45 p.m. – Judges examine posters without students present.
2:45-3:45 p.m. – Students discuss their work with judges.
3:45 p.m. – Judges’ evaluations (with preset guidelines) are due.
4:45-5:30 p.m. – Awards ceremony.

SURCA is hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Research, part of WSU Undergraduate Education. SURCA is the kickoff event for WSU Showcase Week, a university tradition celebrating the excellence of faculty, staff and students.
