Top international student, other grads honored

sreenath-panchagnulaPULLMAN, Wash. – The Ka Yang Tang Award, given annually to an international student at Washington State University, was presented to Sreenath Panchagnula, 2015-16 executive vice president of the International Students’ Council, during the recent Global Cougs Graduation Gala.

The Office of International Programs celebrated approximately 150 graduates – international students as well as those who have earned a Global Leadership Certificate and/or spent time studying abroad.

Alumnus Nuvan Athukorala, WSU class of 1984, provided the keynote speech. A native of Sri Lanka, he is director of global portfolio management at Epoch Investment Partners, Inc., in New York.
