Strategic reallocation RFPs under consideration

from-the-provost-logoPULLMAN, Wash. – Recipients of faculty seed grants are expected to be announced May 15 for initiatives supporting student success and research grand challenges at Washington State University.

Final awards will be announced in June for the multidisciplinary college proposals for similar initiatives. Both sets of grants are part of strategic reallocation of resources to achieve WSU priorities.

The WSU executive committee is meeting this week to assess the 17 college-level proposals before making recommendations to WSU’s senior leadership team.

For the faculty seed grants, 12 proposals were submitted for student success projects and 29 for research. Though not all can be funded, the offices of research and the provost plan to work with principal investigators to identify alternate funding sources.
