March 21: Economics of criminal justice presented

just-mercyPULLMAN, Wash. – Flaws in the criminal justice system – from an economic perspective – will be discussed by Patricia Kuzyk, clinical assistant professor in the School of Economic Sciences and the Honors College, at 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 21, in CUE 203 at Washington State University.

“An Economist’s Perspective on ‘Just Mercy’” is presented as part of the WSU common reading of the book “Just Mercy,” by Bryan Stevenson. Kuzyk will discuss economic incentives, the negatives of capital punishment and other topics.
