July 22: Second open forum with Interim President Bernardo

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University Interim President Dan Bernardo will host a second open forum for faculty and staff on the Pullman campus noon-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, in Johnson Hall C0107.

“Nearly 100 faculty and staff attended the first forum, and I appreciated the openness and diversity of the questions I received,” he said.

The WSU Board of Regents named Bernardo interim president on July 7. He served as acting president since President Floyd’s death June 20 and has been WSU’s provost and executive vice president since May 2014.

“As I have said before, it is critical during these next months that we keep the lines of communication open and the ideas for moving forward flowing,” he said.

Similar sessions will be held at WSU’s Vancouver, Tri-Cities and Spokane campuses later this summer.
