Through Sept. 30: Nominations accepted for faculty awards

PULLMAN, Wash. – Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to submit nominations for 2015-16 faculty awards presented at the annual spring Showcase celebration of university excellence. The deadline is Wednesday, Sept. 30.

“I am seeking your support in nominating outstanding faculty members whose performance clearly distinguishes them from their colleagues for these university-level awards,” says Dan Bernardo, interim provost, in the call for nominations. The awards are designed to honor faculty who epitomize excellence in pursuit of the university’s mission and goals.

The awards include:

Eminent Faculty Award;

Sahlin Faculty Excellence Awards for
* Instruction;
* Leadership;
* Outreach and Engagement;
* Research, Scholarship and Arts;

Distinguished Faculty Address;

Faculty Diversity Award;

President’s Distinguished Teaching Award for Non-Tenure Track Faculty;

President’s Award for Distinguished Lifetime Service.

Submit nominations to the Office of the Provost, campus zip 1046 or P.O. Box 641046, Pullman, WA 99164-1046.
