PULLMAN, Wash. – Posters and presentations about work done by 480 first-year students will be exhibited Monday-Wednesday, April 14-16, in the CUE second-floor atrium at Washington State University.
“This is a great opportunity to engage our first-year students in dialogue about the scholarly research they have completed in their first-year seminar,” said Selena Castro, director of Students Success and Transition Programs, part of the WSU Office of Undergraduate Education.
Hours are 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and 1-4 p.m. Wednesday. Student presenters are from 31 sections of UColl 104, the Pathways to Academic Success Seminar (PASS).
“This course is designed to challenge students to develop their skills in scholarly research by reinforcing critical thinking and communication skills early in their academic career,” Castro said.
