Oct. 8: Wind quintet performance benefits WSU music scholarship fund

fac-art-series-160PULLMAN, Wash. – Solstice Wind Quintet will perform at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, in Bryan Hall at Washington State University. The concert is part of the WSU Faculty Artist Series; proceeds support the school’s scholarship fund.

The acclaimed resident faculty wind quintet will present music of Endre Szervánszky, Theodor Blumer and Jurriaan Andriessen. Quintet members include Ann Marie Yasinitsky, flute; Keri E. McCarthy, oboe; Shannon Scott, clarinet; Matthew Aubin, horn; and Ryan M. Hare, bassoon.

Tickets will be available in the lobby one hour before the performance; they are free for WSU students with ID, $10 for general admission and $5 for seniors 60 and older and non-WSU students.
