Four council members, two alternates elected

Abbie DeMeerleer  Helen Berry
PULLMAN, Wash. – The Administrative Professional Advisory Council recently elected four members to serve three-year terms beginning in July.
They are John Brabb, finance and budget manager for crop and soil sciences; Abbie DeMeerleer, the academic coordinator for the College of Veterinary Medicine; Kathleen Kamerrer, director of administrative services; and Helen Berry, academic coordinator for graduate programs in the College of Education at WSU Tri-Cities.
Bernadette Buchanan, director of student conduct, and Adam Koerner, food service associate manager for WSU Dining Services, were selected as alternates.
APAC members participate in monthly meetings and are allowed to serve as officers after one year. The new members’ terms will end June 2014. The alternates, which only serve a one-year term, will serve until June 2012.
APAC is a 16-member council representing administrative professional employees, to allow broad participation in matters that interest AP personnel and to maintain communication with the administration.
