For the first time since 2008, the WSU Pullman campus hosted a safety fair, part of the University’s commitment to providing safe, healthy and secure environments for students, faculty, staff and visitors.

The Nov. 28 event featured awards presentations and informational booths from more than a dozen University vendors and organizations. WSU President Kirk Schulz presided over the awards ceremony, which recognized recent contributions by faculty and staff to improving University safety, health and security.

In reviving the event, the University expanded the focus to include health and security along with the traditional emphasis on overall safety.

Organizers say it will become an annual event.
