LaCrosse-visitor-center,-museum

PULLMAN, Wash. – Student design proposals for a visitor center and geology exhibit in LaCrosse, Wash., and a community creativity/design/building center in Moscow, Idaho, will be presented 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, in the second floor gallery of Carpenter Hall at Washington State University.

WSU students in the third-year studio will present their proposals on behalf of the Rural Communities Design Initiative (http://rcdiwsu.wix.com/ruraldesign). Students worked on designing an engaging visitor center to promote the town of LaCrosse and the work of the Ice-Age Flood Institute and LaCrosse Community Pride.
