PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University alumni, students, faculty, staff and civic and business leaders on the west side of the state are invited to provide input about the considerations important in selecting the university’s next president at community forums Oct. 26 and 27 in Seattle, Everett and Bellevue.
Feedback will be shared with the Presidential Search Advisory Committee and others involved in the search process.
“With more than 60,000 alumni living in the Puget Sound area and given WSU’s expanding presence in western Washington, it’s very important to listen to the thoughts of these constituents,” said Mike Worthy, chair of the search advisory committee and a member of the WSU Board of Regents. The upcoming forums follow similar sessions held Oct. 19-22 on WSU’s campuses in Pullman, Spokane, Tri-Cities, and Vancouver.
Forum attendees are asked to consider these topics:
- Current and future opportunities for the next president
- Challenges the president may face
- Ways to measure the president’s success
