New Residence Inn opens on WSU’s Pullman campus

hotel-logoPULLMAN, Wash. – A four-story Residence Inn by Marriott has opened on the Washington State University campus, bringing an additional 131 rooms to a market where finding available lodging, particularly for major university events, is often challenging.

Located on NE Fairway Road near the Palouse Ridge Golf Club, Beasley Coliseum and the Bailey-Brayton Baseball Field, the hotel provides easy access to several local area businesses, including Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories and Pullman Regional Hospital.

Amenities include conversation areas equipped with electronic support, business center, dining area, indoor swimming pool and spa, outdoor patio and fire pit, exercise/fitness center, guest laundry, exterior sport court and three conference rooms comprising about 2,000 square feet.

In addition to providing WSU and Pullman with expanded lodging alternatives, the facility represents a passionate investment by WSU alumnus Navin Dimond, who graduated cum laude in 1985 with bachelor’s degrees in business administration and construction management. He earned a master’s of business administration in real estate/construction management from the University of Denver.

Dimond went on to found Stonebridge Companies, a privately owned, hotel development and management company.

The reservation number for the Marriot Residence Inn at WSU is 509-332-4400.
