PULLMAN, Wash. – Christopher Lupke, associate professor of Chinese language and culture, has received a Fulbright Distinguished Chair Award (http://www.cies.org/program
/fulbright-distinguished-chair-awards) for fall 2014 as visiting research chair at the University of Calgary (Alberta, Canada).
Among the most prestigious Fulbright appointments, the distinguished chair is awarded to about 40 U.S. lecturers and/or researchers each year.

Lupke has been a Fulbright scholar to Taiwan and is on the Washington State University Fulbright Academy Advisory Board.
