WSU annual parking permit renewal to begin online

parking-lot-85pPULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University Transportation Services will offer annual campus parking permit renewals on the Web. The process is expected to commence April 15.

Current eligible annual permit holders will receive an email that will direct them to the Transportation Services website for the renewal. Parking patrons are encouraged to check their WSU email account on a regular basis for parking information.

Annual permit prices for 2014-15 will increase by 1.5 percent. A breakdown of the per-month dollar amount of the increase by permit type is available online at http://transportation.wsu.edu/docs/Approved_Rates_FY2015.pdf

Renewal is easy and takes only a few minutes to complete. A new feature makes the process easier for customers who elect to purchase the same type of permit using the same payment method as the previous year.

A valid WSU Network ID is required to renew a parking permit. Anyone who has lost or forgotten their network ID can retrieve it by calling the WSU IT Phone Desk at 509-335-HELP (4357).

Those wishing to renew permits through the Web service should ensure that their primary mailing address with the university is current. Mailing addresses can be checked through the “Zzusis” system.

The initial phase of the renewal is restricted to current eligible permit holders. Once that phase is completed, annual permits will be made available to other parking patrons.

Those who do not have access to a computer to renew or purchase a permit can do so at the WSU Transportation Services office.

For more information, contact WSU Transportation Services at 509-335-PARK (7275) or email transportation@wsu.edu.
