Gov. Jay Inslee, Guy Palmer, WSUPULLMAN, Wash. – Gov. Jay Inslee and members of his executive cabinet visited the Washington State University campus and the Palouse Wind windmill farm near Oakesdale on Monday, July 8.

Inslee’s WSU tour focused on the Paul G. Allen Center for Global Animal Health and the Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (WADDL), labeling them as “integral” to the region’s economy, agiculture, academic needs.

The Palouse Wind project is estimated to generate enough energy to power about 30,000 homes.

Above are a few photos by WSU Photo Services from that tour.
