Individual choices affect community’s health

PULLMAN, Wash. – We often think of health as either an individual experience or a public health issue. It isn’t always clear how our individual choices interact with the health of our community, but they do.

In the next few weeks, influenza cases are expected to peak throughout the state of Washington, and many of us are wondering how this will affect us and our WSU community. So far, WSU is experiencing an early but fairly average flu season, and the personal choices each of us are making contribute to that experience.
