Moos revives old rivalry with U of I

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University has added the University of Idaho to its 2013 football schedule Bill Moos, Director of Athletics, announced Tuesday. The game is scheduled for Sept. 21, 2013 in Martin Stadium.

“This is a long-standing rivalry and I’m pleased that we were able to resume it, albeit not on an annual basis,” said Moos.

Dates for any games beyond the 2013 season have not been finalized.

Washington State holds a 70-17-3 advantage in the all-time series, including a 45-28 victory in 2007, the last times these teams met. The Cougars have won the last seven meetings in the series. In addition to Idaho the Cougars will also have a road game at Auburn and a home contest against BYU as part of the 2013 nonconference schedule.
