Colleen Kerr to speak at APAC meeting

PULLMAN, Wash. – Colleen Kerr, associate vice president of external affairs and chief legislative officer for Washington State University, will speak at the Administrative Professional Advisory Council meeting at 1:10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, in Murrow 53, with other viewing locations statewide.
 
Kerr was appointed associate vice president of external affairs and chief legislative officer in 2010. The position was created to further WSU’s strategic plan to engage more fully with its external constituents and stakeholders, as well as more closely align the state and federal government’s initiatives.
 
Most recently, Kerr was legislative director for State Senate Majority Leader Lisa Brown and deputy chief of staff for the Senate Democratic Caucus. She holds a juris doctorate degree from the University of Washington, master’s degree in public policy from the University of Chicago and master of letters degree in international security studies from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
