Business and other interested students encouraged to network

PULLMAN, Wash. – Advising, clubs, study abroad and other information for business students and potential business students will be available at an open house 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, on the first floor of Todd Hall. Free pizza will be served.
 
Nearly 200 students attended the College of Business Student Welcome Open House in 2010. It is hosted by the Scott and Linda Carson Center for Professional Development.
 
The event provides valuable networking opportunities between students and faculty. It emphasizes the importance of student involvement within the college.
 
It will feature nformational booths regarding 14 business clubs, study abroad opportunities, advising, business majors and graduate programs.

The Scott and Linda Carson Center for Professional Development provides business and engineering students of Washington State University with skills and knowledge applicable to professional success. The center offers resume critiques, mock interviews, workshops, networking opportunities with employers and career guidance.
