Online applications are open now for awards from the Auvil Scholars Fellowship program, administered by the Undergraduate Research Program in the University College at WSU.
Deadline: Sept. 16, 2011, at 5 p.m.
Students working on “research, scholarship, and creative activities” with a mentoring faculty member are eligible. Undergraduates in any year of college and in any major are encouraged to apply.
Awards range up to $1,000 per student.
The Auvil awards were established by an estate gift from Grady and Lillie Auvil, Wenatchee tree-fruit entrepreneurs. Since 2007, more than 100 awards have been made.
