Tuition update: Process awaits Legislature’s decision

PULLMAN, Wash. – Under the original timetable for WSU’s tuition recommendation, the president was to make the announcement today, May 24. But the Legislature has not yet passed a budget bill and the governor has not signed the tuition authority bill.
 
Both of these factors have led President Elson S. Floyd to decide that the Board of Regents meeting to make a determination on tuition, tentatively scheduled for May 31, should not occur at that time but be postponed.
