Solstice Wind Quintet presents afternoon summer concert

PULLMAN, Wash. – Four members of the WSU Solstice Wind Quintet will present a free public concert at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at the WSU Museum of Art.
 
The program will include works by Beethoven, Rossini, Villa Lobos and Jan Bach.
 
The quintet, a faculty ensemble in residence at WSU, has been performing for more than 30 years. The group has presented hundreds of concerts throughout the Pacific Northwest, including appearances on prestigious chamber music series and conferences.
 
Members who will perform are Ann Marie Yasinitsky, flute; Shannon Scott, clarinet; Ryan Hare, bassoon, and Robert Dickow, horn. All are WSU School of Music faculty members.
