Sneak peek of new student information system portal

A zzusis open forum is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, in CUE 518. It is available via videoconference at WSU Spokane, Administration Building 401A, WSU Tri-Cities, CIC 125Q, and WSU Vancouver, VCLS 110.

It will focus on the upcoming zzusis portal launch, the first implementation milestone of the new zzusis system (formerly known as the student information system).

The zzusis portal, which is replacing myWSU, will continue to perform many familiar tasks such as registration, fee payment, Cougar Card balance and checking grades; however, it will be easier to navigate and will allow individual customization.

Hosted by the zzusis steering committee, the forum will provide a sneak peak of the zzusis portal for WSU faculty, staff, academic advisors and students, as well as an opportunity to ask questions.

The zzusis portal launch is the first move to Campus Solutions, the comprehensive suite of software modules that will be implemented during the zzusis project to replace the aging student information system. The modules include academic advising, campus community, campus self-service, financial aid, admissions, student financials and student records.

Zzusis forums will be scheduled throughout the project to update the WSU community. To learn more, visit http://sis.wsu.edu.
