Winter storm warning over; precip easing

PULLMAN – The winter storm that dumped heavy wet snow on the area overnight Monday and Tuesday is expected to ease up through the rest of the week.
 
A winter storm warning above 2,500 feet was in effect until 10 a.m. Wednesday. Forecasts call for snow and rain through the week, but decreasing from a 70 percent chance Wednesday to a 10 percent chance Saturday.
 
Daytime temperatures are forecast in the mid 30s, nighttime mid 20s.
