SEATTLE – After 30 years of being a news anchor for KOMO-TV, WSU alum Kathi Goertzen is dealing with a monumental challenge, a 12-year battle with a brain tumor.

 
Despite five surgeries and numerous radiation and chemo-therapy treatments, she’s not giving up.
