1920s answer to this much snow? Tobogganing!

PULLMAN – To celebrate the winter weather, WSU libraries archivist Mark O’English recently added a bit of campus winter sports film to the Facebook page of Manuscripts, Archives and Special Collections (MASC).

According to Trevor Bond, head and special collections librarian for MASC, the silent film shows students tobogganing from what is now the CUB or the IT Building down the slope to the site of Martin Stadium.

The clip is part of a series of home movies created 1928-1929 by J.L. Gilleland of Pullman and his family.
