Architecture students learn while building theater set

PULLMAN, Wash. – School of Design and Construction students are applying skills they’ve learned in class to help build sets for the Washington State University Performing Arts (WSUPA) spring theater production. “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” opens Friday.

April 10: ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’ at WSU

By Gail Siegel, WSU Performing Arts PULLMAN, Wash. – Lobotomies and electroshock treatments are weaponized in Dale Wasserman’s play, “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” which will run at Washington State University’s Jones Theatre April 3, 4, 10 and 11. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. nightly with 2 p.m. matinees April 4 and 11.

Feb. 6: Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem bring fun roots music

PULLMAN, Wash. — Hailed as “one of America’s most inventive string bands” by the Boston Herald, Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem will showcase their bracing fusion of rootsy genres Friday, Feb. 6, in WSU’s Jones Theatre in Daggy Hall. The concert, presented by WSU Performing Arts, will begin at 7:30 p.m.

May 3: ‘Mo better blues at Beasley Coliseum

By Gail Siegel, WSU Performing Arts PULLMAN, Wash. – Three-time Grammy winner Keb’ Mo’ will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at Washington State University’s Beasley Coliseum in support of his first new album in three years, “BLUESAmericana” (Kind of Blue Music). It is set for release on April 22.
