Shain Wright, a second year student in the Cultural Studies and Social Thought in Education doctoral program, was selected to serve a one‑year term as WSU’s student regent.
Regents are expected to set tuition rates for the 2021–2022 academic year, review designs for WSU Vancouver’s new Life Sciences Building, and consider revised athletics budgets and financial planning, among other actions.
Jenette Ramos, a Boeing Co. executive who started out as a summer employee while an undergraduate at Washington State University, is joining the university’s Board of Regents.
During the online meeting, the board is expected to take action on President Kirk Schulz’s proposed goals and objectives for the current academic year as well as a revised fiscal year 2021 athletics budget.
Arliegh Cayanan, a fourth-year College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences student, will serve as the next student regent on the WSU Board of Regents.
These meetings will be conducted via Zoom in accordance with current public health safety guidelines. Both days of meetings will be broadcast live on Youtube.
