Veterans Day, a salute to all those who have died or served in an effort to protect this nation’s freedom, will be observed nationwide on Nov. 11. The original holiday, previously known as Armistice Day, was inaugurated by the U.S. Congress in 1926, in recognition to those who served in World War I, which ended on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1918. Veterans open forum set for Nov. 12 at CUB

PULLMAN, Wash. — The ASWSU Veterans Affairs Committee at Washington State University will host an open forum at 5 p.m. Nov. 12 for all veterans, reservists, national guardsmen and ROTC cadets.
